Cinematic Process
Pre-Production
Pre-Production could arguably be the most crucial part in any project. This consists of anything from creating mood boards, story boards, scripts, to location scouting, hiring actors, obtaining permits to film. We will work with you from day one and ensure that the vision of the project is accomplished from the start. There is no such thing as too much planning when we are producing
top tier projects.
Aerial Cinematography
At Connor Black Productions we utilize aerials in as many projects as we can. Aerial cinematography offers a unique perspective that we love to take advantage of. We utilize cinema quality aerial platforms to achieve the quality we want to deliver. There is no difference between the cinema cameras we use on the ground to our aerial platform. All of our pilots and camera operators are FAA certified and are well versed in aerial laws and regulations.
Equipment
We utilize cinema grade equipment to deliver above industry standard results, as well as allow for incredible flexibility in post. By utilizing cinema grade equipment, we can pull the richest colors and perfect skin tones from all our productions. As well as allow for flexibility in post to deliver exactly what our clients want.
Post-Production
Post-Production is where all the magic happens. This stage is also where we spend the most time. Our post-production process is what separates us from the masses. We create multiple backups of all our material to ensure no files are lost. We color correct and grade every clip that we deliver. Tedious effort (borderline OCD) is poured into all of our productions to ensure we deliver not only stunning videos, but accurate content. We go over final products with our clients and create revisions to achieve exactly what our clients want.
Color Grading
There are numerous aspects that have an impact on how a video looks. One of the most impactful qualities of a video is how it is colored. With over ten years of experience and testing, I have developed my method of color grading. Combined with professional grade equipment and my knowledge of coloring, these come together to create stunning visuals.
